Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction and chiropractic adjustments utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic care have chiropractors been able to provide the level of help and expertise that is available today. Many of the newest chiropractic techniques are actually safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a chiropractor who cares about utilizing the most advanced chiropractic techniques, Dr. Holly Geerson has years of training, expertise and experience in helping patients get pain relief for back pain, neck pain, headaches, and other related conditions originating from the spine. Chiropractic care under a trained professional can even be used to prevent injuries and help you achieve total health or wellness.

Activator

Activator Methods Technique® is a gentle, low-force program of chiropractic care. It has been safely used for over 35 years to benefit people with a wide range of health problems. In the late 1960's, this revolutionary chiropractic technique was developed to improve safety and comfort for chiropractic patients. Since then, the technique has grown to be the most widely-used "low-force" chiropractic technique in the world. Children

The most common reason that parents bring their babies in for chiropractic care is for colic/tummy upset concerns. In nearly all cases, very slow paristalsis (bowel motility) is the key factor.

There are gentle adjusting techniques (primarily Logan Basic Technique) that help to improve paristalsis and this is very beneficial and helps alleviate stomach pain and discomfort. Chronic ear infections and asthma and allergies also often respond positively to chiropractic care. Read More.

Nutritional Counseling

What does nutrition have to do with chiropractic care? The goal of chiropractic care is to help patients achieve total health and balance with their body, and as part of that goal we provide specific recommendations on nutritional supplements and healthy food choices. Nutritional counseling by our experienced chiropractic health professionals can assist a patient on their return to optimal health. Do you know which supplements and vitamins are good for you? Do you know how these supplements and vitamins interact with one another? At our Aurora chiropractic clinic, we can provide each patient with a structured nutritional program that is based on their individual needs. Read More.

Women

Dr. Geersen specializes in providing chiropractic and nutritional care for women, and her focus is on pre-menopausal and menopausal changes, fertility, pregnancy and geriatrics. Dr. Geersen focuses on methods that will help ease a woman through the menopausal phase of her life, rather than working to try and unnaturally eradicate all symptoms. She works with a woman to find natural supplements, herbs and progesterone creams, that will soften a woman's symptoms, including hot flashes and the loss of libido. Read More.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been proven to be an effective treatment for many common ailments and Dr. Geersen practices both Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and ‘needle-less’ acupuncture – called auriculotherapy – for her needle-phobic friends. Read More.
